Fashion Show at the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender
I was waiting for this moment since the end of 2016, when I got to know, that I am one of the 16 models that will take part in the first Fashion Show of the Swiss clothing company Prettie Lanes.
Czekalam na ten moment od konca 2016, kiedy to dostalam ponizsza wiadomosc:
¨Bardzo dokladnie przejrzalam wszytkie aplikacje, jakie dostalam do tej pory.
Niestety, liczba modelek, jakim moge zaoferowac uczestnictwo w pokazie jest limitowana.
Z przykroscia chcialam Cie poinformowac, ze bedziesz musiala spedzic chociaz jeden dzien
Viva Las Vegas ze mna!*smiech* Poniewaz chce Cie widziec, w jednej z moich sukienek na scenie!
Uwielbiam Twoja klasyczna urode i jestem bardzo podekscytowana majac Cie w moim zespole <3
To bedzie fantastyczne wydarzenie!¨
From this moment on I knew it will be a trip of the lifetime and this show will be the biggest highlight of it!
Od tego momentu, wiedzialam, ze ta podroz bedzie niezapomniana,a pokaz mody bedzie wisienka na torcie calego wyjazdu!
Month before the show all the information about the models were posted on the Prettie Lanes´website. Each of us got a separate page, where you could get to know us a little bit.
I think this is an amazing touch from the company´s side, making this event even more special!
Miesiac przed pokazem, na oficjalnej stronie projektantki, pojawily sie informacje na temat modelek. Kazda z nas dostala osobna strone, gdzie mozna bylo sie z nami troche zapoznac.
Uwazam, ze to naprawde milo z ich strony i dodalo to jeszcze wiecej wyjatkowosci calemu wydarzeniu!

Hubby and I arrived in Las Vegas on Wednesday the 12th, to meet with the owner: Fraziska Schlupski, for the final fitting.
Turned out that the dress was perfect and that the only adjustment needed was to make an additional hole in the belt!
Monsz i ja przyjechalismy do Las Vegas w srode, 12tego kwietnia, zeby spotkac sie z wlascicielka-Franziska Schlupski. Podczas tego spotkania, oprocz oczywiscie poznania sie na zywo, Fran chciala zobaczyc projekt na mnie, zeby wprowadzic ewentualne poprawki. Jak sie okazalo, jedynym elementem wymagajacym poprawek byl pasek: zabraklo w nim jednej dziurki ;)
After 15 minutes we were all set for the next day´s rehearsal!
Po 15 minutach i przymierzeniu wszystkich dodatkow, bylysmy gotowe na probe nastepnego dnia!
The first look at the design I could tell it is a master piece! Before I put it on, I noticed a metal zipper! Small detail, but makes such a difference!
Franzi said some parts are handsewn! The quality and the feel of the fabric was outstanding too!
Moje pierwsze wrazenia a propos projektu?
Juz na pierwszy rzut oka widac, ze w sukienke ta zostala wlozona ogromna ilosc pracy! Zanim ja zalozylam, zauwazylam, ze ma ona metalowy suwak! Taki maly detal, a ile robi dla calosci!
Franzi powiedziala, ze niektore czesci zostaly doszywane/szyte recznie. Jesli zastanawiacie sie zatem, skad cena, to jest wlasnie jej powodem.
Sposob, w jaki calosc ukladala sie na ciele oraz jakosc materialu, wyrozniaja ja wsrod reprodukcji, jakie mozna dostac na rynku!
Final fitting for the Prettie Lanes Company
Thursday was super exciting for 2 reasons: Viva Las Vegas Weekender was starting and I was about to meet all the wonderful ladies that were taking part in the show (the full list with the links to their accounts at the end).
Czwartek byl bardzo ekscytujacy z dwoch powodow: po pierwsze Viva Las Vegas oficjalnie sie zaczynalo, a po drugie, tego dnia mialam poznac wszystkie modelki, ktore braly udzial w pokazie Prettie Lanes (pelna lista modelek na samym koncu).
This is the room! So excited!
First walks in the DeLuxe room gave us an idea what to expect.
Pierwsze przechadzki, bez ladu i skladu, w pomieszczeniu, ktore bylo dostepne dla nas (DeLuxe room), daly nam odczuc odrobine , co nas czeka nastepnego dnia.
It was so much fun! Germany, Poland, Mexico, Argentina, USA, Austria and New Zealand brought together ! How wonderful?!
All those ladies are unique and amazing! We were all different in shapes and sizes. Every woman can relate to us and I found it very thoughtful! I said plenty of times to Fran and all the girls: Franzi could have not chosen better! This mix was perfect!
Cudownie bylo widziec te wszystkie kobietki z roznych krajow! Niemcy, Polska, Meksyk, Argentyna, USA, Austria i Nowa Zelandia, razem na scenie dla Szwajcarskiej firmy!
Wsrod nich, byly bardzo znane profesjonalne modelki, fotografki, wizazystki, fryzjerki, a takze jedna, ktora wygrala Miss Viva Las Vegas 3 lata temu!
Czulam sie naprawde niezwykle i dumnie, bedac czescia tej fantastycznej grupy!
After one hour lunch-break (where isntead of eating I was stollen by the photographers to take some shots with the hotel´s alligators ;)) Franzi took us to the actual room and I must admit my first impression was: The stage is humongous!!! :D
It was so nice to see the name Prettie Lanes already on the screens! I was stunned!
Po godzinnej przerwie na obiad (gdzie zamiast jesc, zostalam porwana przez fotografow na sesje z hotelowymi aligatorami :p), Franzi zabrala nas do Showroom, gdzie mial odbywac sie pokaz.
Zaraz po wejsciu moja pierwsza mysla bylo: Ta scena jest ogromna!
Milo bylo zobaczyc nazwe firmy, wyswietlona na ekranach. Calosc zapierala dech w piersiach!
Waiting impatiently to get on the stage! :D
Still in our own clothes we hopped on the stage and could taste a bit, what will happen tomorrow.
Ciagle ubrane w nasze wlasne ciuszki, wskoczylysmy na scene, zeby ustalic dokladna choreografie na nastepny dzien.
I took the opportunity to mingle with the Ladies and take selfies ;)

Skorzystalam z okazji, zeby troche poznac inne modelki i oczywiscie poprobic sobie w nimi selfie ;) Monsz udokumentowal te momenty na aparacie ;)
After 2.5 hours, catwalking in the DeLuxe and Showroom, the show was ready to be presented to the public!
Happy and proud of myself I could start enjoying Vegas! :D

The big day finally came. So did the jitters ;)
To cheer myself up I decided to put the cherry dress from Vivien of Holloway and the Sakura hairpiece by Vintage Vollies, so the Cherry in me could bloom fully ;) You can see how nervous I am :D
Wielki dzien w koncu nadszedl, a z nim trema!
Zeby troche sie odstresowac, zalozylam moja ulubiona sukieke od Vivien of Holloway i fascynator w kwiaty wisni od Vintage Vollies, zeby moja wewnetrzna Wisienka rozkwitla w pelni!
Ponizej mozecie zobaczyc, jak zdenerwowana bylam jadac do hotelu ;)
Luckily, once we got to the changing room, the nerves went away and the positive atmosphere took over!
Po dotarciu do hotelu i wejsciu do przebieralni, pozytywna atmosfera wziela gore nad nerwami!
I was overwhelmed with the amount of beauty! Not only in our changing room ;)
Ilosc pieknych kobiet wokol, nie tylko w naszej przebieralni, byla powalajaca. Szczerze , to nie wiem, jak mezczyzni, ktorzy byli tam z nami, mogli to zniesc ;)
I could not believe my eyes when I saw that the dressing room next door was assigned Secrets in Lace (gosh those curves <3 <3 <3) and another one to the Pretty Dress Company (I <3 You)!!!
How much fun it was to see all those designs live!
Nie moglam uwierzyc wlasnym oczom, kiedy zobaczylam, ze zaraz obok przebieralnie ma Secrets in Lase (moj bosze, te wszystkie kraglosci!!!), a po drugiej stronie Pretty Dress Company, dla ktorej modelowala m.in. Vintage Vandal i Acid Doll!
After the final rehearsal each of us got to put on our dresses, and wait for the big moment.
The transformation from our ´normal clothes´to the ones Franzi chose for us was mind-blowing.
Vintage hats, jewelry, gloves and of course dresses took us back in time.
I loved to sit outside the dressing room and watch all the models, going out one by one, totally turned into mid-century Goddesses!
Po probie generalnej, kazda z nas zostala powoli przebrana przez Fran w jej projekty.
Transformacja, jaka zachodzila w nas, kiedy zamienialysmy nasze wlasne ubrania, w piekne suknie od Fran, zwalala z nog!
Oryginalne, stare kapelusze i toczki, bizuteria, rekawiczki, sprawily, ze mialam wrazenie przeniesienia sie w czasie!
Ogromna przyjemnosc sprawialo mi siedzenie przed przebieralnia i patrzenie jak kolejne modelki, wychodzace z niej, przeobrazaly sie w retro Boginie!
Once we were all dressed up, I felt like in a second we will be transported to a place, where all the housewives, back in the day, were having tea parties :D Or we are going to have a picnic in a park :D
W momencie, gdy wszystkie bylysmy juz gotowe, mialam wrazenie, ze zaraz podjada po nas fantastyczne, stare limuzyny i wszystkie pojedziemy na jakas wieczorna gale albo piknik w parku! :D
After hours of waiting the time has come!
Minutes before the show we were all super cheerful, laughing and dancing behind the curtains! :) I wish someone could film that!
On top of that Gigi pointed out, that Dita Von Teese will be performing on the same stage later that evening! She also showed me her props! I got mad for it! How coll is that to be on the same stage as your IDOL!
Po godzinach oczekiwan, nasz czas nadszedl!
Minuty przed pokazem, stojac za kotarami, bylysmy wszystkie bardzo wesole i podekscytowane! Zaluje, ze nikt nas wtedy nie nagral, bo ilosc zartow i tanca, jakie odbywala sie za kurtyna, byla naprawde warta uwiecznienia!
Zeby tego wszystkiego nie bylo dosc, jedna z modelek pokazala mi rekwizyty, nikogo innego jak Dity Von Teese, ktora tego samego wieczora miala byc na TEJ SAMEJ scenie, co my!
Oszalalam! Jak fantastycznym jest to, ze jestes na tej samej scenie, na ktorej kilka godzin pozniej bedziesz ogladac pokaz swojej idolki?!
I loved the moment I started walking, seeing all those people cheering and clapping for us! As we got to know later, there was a lot of models (including Miss Victory Violet), that were watching us and were stunned by the show!
Moment kiedy wyszlam na scene byl cudowny! Widziec tych wszystkich ludzi, ktorzy klaszcza i dodaja Ci otuchy! Niesamowite wrazenie.
Jak sie pozniej okazalo, wiele slawnych modelek (w tym Miss Victory Violet) bylo na pokazie i pokochalo cala kolekcje Fran!

The moment we were done with the show, we expressing our happiness so loud, that we had to be shushed by the technical crew! :D

The pride and happiness on my face, just few minutes after the show, say it all :D
Duma i radosc, jaka malowala sie na mojej twarzy po zakonczeniu pokazu, mowi chyba wiecej niz wszystkie slowa ;)
The next day Prettie Lanes had its own booth at the Car Show. I talked to Fran briefly and she was very happy with the results of the Fashion Show!
Nastepnego dnia, moglismy spotkac Fran w trakcie Car Show, gdzie prezentowala swoja kolekcje i mozna bylo zamowic wybrane modele!
Po krotkiej rozmowie dowiedzialam sie, ze sprzedala juz kilka sukienek i jest niesamowicie szczesliwa, z tego jak odebrany zostal pokaz oraz jak wypadlysmy.
Here I would like to say thank you to all of you Gals for making those 2 days so special and unforgettable!
I am sad, we did not meet on Sunday to say goodbye to each other!
Chcialabym tutaj podziekowac wszystkim modelkom, za uczynienie tych 2 dni tak niesamowitymi i nezapomnianymi!
Smutno mi, ze nie zorganizowalysmy sie w niedziele, zeby sie pozegnac!
