Prices/Ceny. Why you should not buy fakes!/ Dlaczego nie powinnismy kupowac podrobek!

Recently I stumbled upon a picture, on the Facebook Page of one of the most famous Polish bloggers and got shocked!

This girl was bragging (sic!) about buying a copy of a brooch from The company, let's call it: X, and a similar turban!

She posted a picture of the fake brooch next to the original picture from X, as an advice for others not to pay the full price, if they can have the same thing but waaay cheaper, from China (through Aliexpress)!

Adding the comment: Before you buy something from the USA, check it out on Ali, cause most probably it is already there but 10 times cheaper.

Przegladajac strone na FB jednej, bardzo popularnej polskiej blogerki, trafilam na zdjecie, ktore spowodowalo,ze moja szczeka opadla nizej niz kostki!

Opis do zdjecia byl jeszcze bardziej szokujacy: otoz osoba ta, chwalila sie znalezieniem i kupieniem podrobki broszki (oraz polecala jak jej szukac) od firmy nazwijmy ja 'X', a takze turbanu, ktory jest sprzedawany razem z ta broszka.

Opublikowane zdjecie podrobki zestawione bylo z oryginalnalnym zdjeciem producenta, z opisem jaka jest roznica cenowa i jakim swietnym pomyslem jest szukanie produktow na Aliexpress, zanim zamowi sie taka sama rzecz ze Stanow Zjednoczonych!

Those things hit me hard and make me think, what is wrong with this world? Is the greediness taking over respect towards others' work and designs?

Nie ukrywam, ze widzac podobne posty czuje sie, jakby mnie ktos nawet nie spoliczkowal a walnal piescia miedzy oczy.

Zmusza mnie to do zastanowienia, co jest nie tak z tym swiatem?

Czy chciwosc naprawde wygrywa z szacunkiem do pracy innych?

In my life I know plenty of designers and self-made businessmen and women, that depend on their products.

Once someone copies them, they loose money. As simple as that!

Bragging about cheating and buying fakes and on top of that advising other people to do the same is not only immoral! Is just wrong!

W swoim zyciu poznalam wielu projektantow oraz wlascicieli malych biznesow, ktorzy zaleza od sukcesow swoich produktow.

W momencie, kiedy ktos kopiuje ich prace i projekty, traca pieniadze. Tak po prostu!

Chwalenie sie publicznie, ze kupuje sie podrobki i dodatkowo zachecanie innych do robienia tego samego, jest nie tylko niemoralne.

Jest po prostu zle!

I understand that prices of certain goods are beyond reach of some people but there is just one rule, that in my opinion, not only a person, but the households, countries and companies should follow: If you cannot afford something, don't buy it!

And if you want to buy it, save up for it!

Do not go behind somebodies back and buy fakes that look exactly the same!

(The price you see is there for a reason and if you want to make sure that you get something of a good quality and produced in a normal working environment, you have to be ready to pay it!)

I know, it is tempting!

But people will recognize sooner or later your actions and stop respecting you as well, cause if you show no respect towards others, why someone should respect you?

Zrozumialym jest dla mnie, ze ceny niektorych dobr, sa poza zasiegiem przecietnego Kowalskiego, ale jest jedna zlota zasada, ktora powinny stosowac nie tylko prywatne osoby, ale takze gospodarstwa domowe, firmy czy panstwa: Jesli Cie na cos nie stac, to tego nie kupuj! A jesli naprawde chcesz ten produkt, to na niego oszczedzaj!

Nie zwracaj sie do kogos, kto oferuje Ci podrobki, zerujac na sukcesie innych!

(Cena, jaka widzisz, jest na produkcie z jakiegos powodu! Chcac kupic cos, co jest dobrej jakosci i zostalo wyprodukowane w ludzkich warunkach, musisz sie liczyc z tym, ze nie bedzie to tanie!)

Z czasem ludzie zauwaza, ze to co robisz jest zle i przestana szanowac CIEBIE!

Bo jak maja miec szacunek do osoby, ktora nie szanuje innych?

I think we should all unite against those kind of actions and inform the companies, that their goods are sold somewhere else!

The company 'X' was informed by me today with the pictures and links to the seller.

Moim zdaniem powinnismy sie jednoczyc przeciwko takim zachowaniom i informowac firmy, jesli widzimy,ze ktos kopiuje ich prace.

Firma 'X' dostala ode mnie dzisiaj taka wiadomosc razem z linkami i zdjeciami do produktu.

I have also expressed my disagreement with the actions of the bloger, and as a result my comments were removed and am banned from her FB page.

Well, I will not say I am disappointed, as it is not in my interest to follow someone, who stabs others and is happy about it.

Wyrazilam takze moje niezrozumienie i zdziwienie na stronie wspomnianej blogerki. W rezultacie moje komentarze zostaly usuniete, a ja sama zablokowana.

Coz, nie bede mowic, ze jestem zawiedziona. Nie zamierzam ani popierac ani sledzic osob, ktore publicznie informuja, ze kogos okradaja i jeszcze sa z tego powodu dumne.
