LipSense Longlasting Lipstick- Review/Recenzja

LipSense longlasting lipstick is a hit on the YouTube channels of plenty of bloggers, fashionistas and ordinary girls that look for this one and only, perfect lipstick that will hold on for the whole day.
Apparently it is a favourite choice of many Hollywood stars and Christina Aguilera is one of the ambassadors of the brand.
You cannot purchase LipSense in a shop. It is only available via consultants of the SeneGence company. It works like Oriflame or Avon.
So what does producer say about this product?
`LipSense is the premier product of SeneGence and is unlike any conventional lipstick, stain or color. As the original long-lasting lip color, it is waterproof, does not kiss-off, smear-off, rub-off or budge-off! Create your own color palette by combining colors from over 50 shades.´On top of that they claim it is 100% natural ingredients and not tested on animals.
I must admit I got hooked after watching all the videos of happy ladies and bought one (plus Glossy Gloss) to try.
The price on the official website is 25 dollars (not the cheapest one) for the liquid lipstick plus 20 dollars for the gloss.
Application of this lipstick is tricky, so we get the instruction included in the package.
So how do you use it?
Shake before the use. Your lips must be dry and clean (no powder etc). Apply 3 layers. Each layer has to dry before the next one and then apply gloss.
So here we go.
I chose the colour: Cranberry. It is very intense red and thought it will be perfect for all the Pin-Up shoots and Vegas trip!
Layer number one.
My lips are totally nude. No powder, fluid and I used a lip-peeling before.
We have to move the brush in one direction only from the corner of the lips. Do not go back an forth. You also cannot close your mouth, as the lipstick is very sticky and will come off.
Let it dry. You get really weird sensation out of it. You can feel that it burns a bit, getting into your lips.
Layer number 2:
This layer should give you the colour. As you can see there is plenty of patches all over the lips!
Layer number 3, 4, 5 and 6th (the 3rd one looked almost the same as the 2nd one!):
The lips are still not fully covered, despite the fact that I used more layers than recommended!
And the gloss:

Observations:
-lipstick without the gloss is really sticky,
-you need the gloss to make the colour stay and be smear-proof,
-it is really difficult to apply the even coats, there are some patches visible! Even after 6 layers it is still not covering the lips fully!
Tissue test: no stain.
Glass test: the only stain is the lipgloss.
Cup test: no stains
Results:
The lipstick indeed does not leave any stains. And I would say that would be it.
It doesn´t look good, once we eat something it gets sticky again, so we need to re-apply the lipgloss. The gloss get used pretty quickly, as we have to apply it every 2 hours or so...
How to wash it off?
It is not easy to wash it off, as it really gets into your lips. The only thing that worked for me and still with a lot of rubbing was a coconut oil.
Would I buy it again?
No.
